Have you ever imagined that you could fly when you were younger?

My son Matt who recently turned 3 years woke up one morning and with great excitement described a dream that he had where he was flying like Superman. Matt is a big Superman fan and even has a Superman outfit and some videos that he got for his birthday. When he first tried on his Superman outfit he went to the top of the stairs and announced that he was going to fly! You can imagine what our response was to this declaration. My wife and I intervened before lift-off but Matt was determined and protested our intervention in the way that 3 years olds do. When the tantrum slowly passed we finally got the message through to Matt that you can use your imagination and be like Superman. You can even pretend to fly if you want to.

When Matt woke that morning describing his dream I told him that was a wonderful dream to have. I told him that if he put on his Superman outfit with his imagination and my creative imagination we could make his dream a reality. With great enthusiasm he put on his outfit and I took him for a spin. See the video below....
